ADHD is associated with dysregulated brainwave activity specifically, excess slow-wave theta in the frontal lobes responsible for attention, impulse control, and executive function. The brain literally gets stuck in a slow-wave state that makes sustained attention feel nearly impossible.

A QEEG brain map identifies the specific theta/beta ratio in your brain. Neurofeedback then trains the brain to correct that ratio. Rewarding the production of focus-associated beta and reducing excess theta.
